Mattress Cleaning

Health, above all else

We spend an average of nine hours out of every 24 in bed — more than a quarter of our lives. Beds and mattresses tend to build up germs, dust mites, bacteria, and even bed bugs.

Questions & answers about mattress cleaning

How often should a mattress or bed be cleaned?

At least once or twice a year. Many customers only reach out to us after a urine accident from a young child or a pet — but the health side matters just as much, even without accidents.

How long does it take, and when can I sleep on the mattress again?

The cleaning itself takes about an hour, followed by roughly 8–12 hours of drying. If you need to sleep on the mattress that same day, we recommend booking the cleaning no later than 2pm — so the mattress has enough time to dry by evening. Our availability is usually two to three days.

Do you clean all types of beds and mattresses?

Yes — mattresses, kids' beds and adjustable beds, including cleaning and neutralizing unpleasant odors. Even a kids' bed with an electric mechanism isn't a problem: we use a small amount of water, and the mechanism is usually located under the bed and isn't exposed to moisture.

Will all the yellow stains disappear after cleaning?

Not always — it depends on the mattress quality and the nature of the stain. With quality mattresses the odds are better thanks to the fabric quality; there are delicate fabrics where even lying down with damp hair after a shower can cause yellowing. In kids' beds, which are made from upholstery similar to sofas, the odds of stains fully disappearing are above 90%.

Can urine odor be removed after an accident?

Yes — about 70% of the requests we get for mattress cleaning are because of accidents like this. We can't guarantee full removal of the discoloration in every case, but the mattress will be completely clean and germ-free. After a thorough cleaning we spray a dedicated odor-neutralizing treatment.

A professional suggested bleach to whiten my mattress — is that okay?

No, absolutely not. Cleaning mattresses with bleach is a health hazard — the fumes can cause skin burns and harm your eyes and respiratory system — and it also damages the mattress's foam and upholstery itself. The damage isn't always immediately visible, but shows up later as indentations or tears.

Itching during sleep?

In most cases, itching during sleep is caused by bed bugs or dust mites. It's important to contact a professional as soon as possible, to solve the problem and prevent it from spreading to other areas of the home. The treatment is simple: after cleaning the mattress, we spray it with materials that eliminate both bed bugs and dust mites. We spend about 30% of our lives sleeping — the main reason your mattress, and your family's, must stay clean and sterile.
